The 18-year-old nightclub dancer at the centre of a sex trial against Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi says she is pregnant and plans to marry soon.
''I will be a mother this December,'' Karima El Mahroug, better known by her stage name Ruby the Heart Stealer, reportedly told the weekly gossip magazine Chi. She said the father was her boyfriend, Luca Rizzo.
''Our son will be born in Italy. Then we will get married and we will go and live abroad,'' said the teenager, who is alleged to have had sex for money with Mr Berlusconi on several occasions last year when she was 17.
Mr Berlusconi is on trial on charges related to under-age prostitution and abuse of power.
