Computer manufacturer Asus has offered a glimpse of its yet-to-be-announced tablet device that sports "gentle edges, complementary tones and a little bump and a clip" according to Asus' marketing website, Techinstyle.tv.
For a start, the tablet carries the name asusdesign rather than simply asus and appears to be made of a combination of matte and glossy plastic material.
It will be released at next week's Computex event that will take place in Taipei. Asus has a press conference on the 30th of May where this and possibly other new products will be revealed.
We suspect that the new tablet will give the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 a run for its money when it comes to the device's thickness.
Also expect it to come with the new Tegra 2 3D SoC, which runs at 1.2GHz and is an upgrade of the current Tegra 2 that powers a slew of products already.
Asus currently sells the Eee Pad Transformer, a great looking 10.1-inch tablet that runs on Android Honeycomb. Its main selling points are its IPS screen, its affordability (it's the cheapest branded Android tablet on the market) as well as its keyboard-cum-docking station accessory which transforms it into a laptop and costs £50 (a sixth of the cost of the Motorola Atrix dock).
