A big day for Harper Seven

Victoria and David Beckham have released photos of their longed-for baby girl, Harper Seven.
A black and white shot shows the football star Becks, 36, cuddling the new baby wrapped in a white blanket.
The former Spice Girl, Victoria, 37, used Twitter to post the photo of David holding Harper, and nuzzling her nose.

''Daddy's little girl! X VB X,'' she gushed, presumably not referencing a new beer blend.
For his 12,584,916 Facebook fans, LA Galaxy star David posted pictures of Harper's name stitched in pink into his new boots, just below their three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6. He also posted a photo of Posh dozing with baby Harper on his Facebook page with the caption, ''I took this picture of my two girls sleeping …''.
Harper was born by caesarean in Los Angeles on July 10. But not everyone was rejoicing at news of the latest Beckham.

The Daily Mail reported concerns among population experts about the level of indulgence in the growing Beckham brood.
The chief executive of the Optimum Population Trust, Simon Ross, told the paper: ''The Beckhams, and others like London mayor Boris Johnson, are very bad role models with their large families.''
