What started as a capsule collection for General Pants has just gone global, as last week Australian stunner Jess Hart launched her Neon Hart range in London's Selfridges.
The mega department store picked up Neon Hart to sit in their contemporary women's wear section, along with the likes of Acne and Alexander Wang. To celebrate the arrival of her label in the UK, Hart flew to London to conduct a half-day in store styling session, where she chatted with shoppers and showed them exactly how she rocks her own range.
The success of Neon Hart proves Hart has fashion chops that go considerably beyond her pretty face. Hart has the same rock meets beach vibe that has earned Erin Wasson such a cult following, only she does it in a distinctly Australian way, playing carelessly with colour and print in a way that acknowledges streetwear should essentially be fun.
After launching her line, Hart explored London, and even managed to soak in that rarest of sights - the English summer sun. She's been kind enough to share some of her working holiday snaps with TheVine.
