Sockless thief walks off with gallery's Picasso

Stolen Picasso drawing Tete De Femme
A casual thief has strolled out of a San Francisco art gallery with a valuable pencil drawing by Pablo Picasso.
Police said the drawing, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, was taken from the Weinstein Gallery near Union Square by a man wearing sunglasses a and loafers "with no socks" who disappeared in a waiting taxi.
A gallery spokesperson said Picasso created the drawing, Tete de Femme, in 1965.
Officer Albie Esparza told the San Francisco Chronicle that police hoped a member of the public might recognise the piece if someone attempted to sell it.
Other artists whose works show at the gallery include Marc Chagall, Salvador Dali and Joan Miro.
